The Volyn Rehabilitation Center for Children with Neural System Lesions and Invalid-Children is situated in the picturesque countryside close to a pinewood between two Volyn cities (10 km from Lutsk and 4 km from Kivertsi).
The fact, that neural system diseases more often than other pathology provoke disabilities in children, determined the profile of our Center.
The Center can receive 100 children. One can also find here children suffered from Chornobyl Disaster.
During the 21 day-period of treatment in the Center, every child is seen by a neurologist, a pediatrician, a Montessori-therapist, a rehabilitologist, a speech therapist, a psychologist, an educator-defectologist, a hippotherapist (a specialist in a pony remedial riding), a music teacher, a masseur, a specialist in kinesiatrics, educators, and nurses.

The Center specialists are doing their best to use all known methods of medical and social rehabilitation of invalid-children, besides they teach parents the main rehabilitation manipulations.
The Rehabilitation Center is a component part of the Volyn Regional Children's Territorial Medical Center, that makes possible usage of the medical and diagnostic potential of all specialized and paraclinical services of the Regional Children's Clinical Hospital.
In December 1999 Mrs. Lyudmyla Kuchma, wife of the President of Ukraine, visited the Center. She highly appreciated the Center activities.
