Opposition to ban Abortion remains high in the US
Inspite of sustained and intensive efforts by the current administration and many church organizations to ban abortion, opposition to such a step remains high.
The results of a March 10-12 2006 gallup pole are summarized below. The error margin for the full sample is 3 percentage points and upto 8 percentage points for sub-samples. The question posed was "Would you favor or oppose a law in your state that would ban all abortions except those necessary to save the life of the woman?"
